Well, Ron came back again as usual. He's one of my best customers. Hardcore's boat was down, so Ron brought his. I didn't like the idea of using another guy's boat guiding, as I'm used to my own. I knew it was very important to Ron to come on this trip, so we did it anyway. The fishing was kind of tough. We only put 16 brook trout in the boat over three days, but a whopping 9 were over 22 inches, with 25 1/2 being the biggest. Ben caught six of those and went home with six personal-best brook trout. Then Ron had to pull it off with a whopping 32-inch, 16-pound walleye —a personal best for him, a guy from Michigan. We had good weather and good times. It was good to see you again, Ron, and it was nice to meet Ben. You guys put up some really crooked, stupid numbers, and I'm happy for you. May I see you again next year.
