The Brook trout season is underway and the action was hot as we landed 20 fish over two days.

Fishing on Superior was good
Was ice fishing on Lake Superior on Monday and it was good. we managed 10 fish all whitefish and herring. we also missed 6 or so. We only fished for 4 hours. The ice is very thick yet.

Spring might come late this year...
There is still plenty of ice on the inland lakes and Superior. It looks as though we will have to wait for the upcoming rainbow season to get going. Until then, ice fish as long as you can as it seems the ice is still solid.
