Wow, I just completed my angler diary from last season we put 176 Brook Trout in the boat with 37 over 22 inches. Of the 37 over 22" 9 were 24 inches or bigger with the biggest being a 25.5 incher. And we missed a true monster last year as we almost had it in the net (27-28 inches0 it was the biggest Brookie I've ever seen!!!!!!

last guide of the year

Here is Kathleen with her first fish ever caught it was a Northern Pike and she also caught some Walleye. Geoff also caught fish but no pics and we had a nice shore lunch and some nice weather for early October and I hate to say that it took until CHRISTMAS to post it. It was a good year and I would like to thank all of my customers and friends who I fished with. Have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

These guys are Hardcore dudes!!!!!!!

Here is Gary and Doug these guys came camping and fishing for 5 days and we had some nasty weather as well. We caught Brookies, Pike, Walleye and a sucker!! Gary caught a solid 23 inch Brook Trout that was over 5lbs. This was my last group with reservations this year and we had a blast for sure. Thanks guys!!!!

Made the most of a tough bite

Here is the Olsen Gang and Charlie with some of their fish. Gene Olsen, 87, caught this 40 inch Northern that was over 20 lbs. The biggist brook trout was caught by Tim and was 23 inches long. These guys are hardcore for sure, as we swam in Lake Nipigon and dodged the weather, got poured on, and made it through everything easily. These guys were a super group to guide and we had a blast.
